Working in security requires stability, physical robustness, flexibility, clear communication and quick comprehension.
You work in patrol duty, in the public transport environment, in the traffic sector, at events or in intervention situations. You will be close to the action, take on responsibility and work as part of a team.

The Security employee salary at VüCH is transparent and clearly structured. The starting salary in the first year of service is CHF 5,384 per month (salary if FSB and preliminary course at VüCH are passed). The salary values shown in the figure below include the FSB and the preliminary course completed at VüCH, but exclude variable supplements such as child allowances and ODS, OD limit and dog supplements.
In addition to the security guard’s salary, ODS surcharges, OD-Gren surcharges and dog surcharges per hour may apply depending on the assignment. The specific amount depends on the assignment planning, function and area of responsibility. In addition, family allowances may be paid. Depending on the canton, these amount to up to CHF 411 child allowances and up to CHF 585 education allowances per month.

It is generally possible to join VüCH on a lateral basis. New employees are systematically introduced and prepared for their assignments through internal training and practical support. Motivation, reliability and a willingness to learn are clearly in the foreground.
VüCH relies on modern and employee-oriented working models. Depending on the function and area of work, flexible working time solutions are possible in order to best accommodate individual life situations.
Formal training in martial arts is not a prerequisite. As part of its internal training and development courses, VüCH teaches all the relevant basics of self-protection, de-escalation and appropriate behavior for everyday security situations.
For employment at VüCH, at least a C residence permit or Swiss citizenship is required. Applications with a G or B permit cannot currently be considered.
Yes, VüCH deploys specially trained security dogs in certain areas. These are only used where the situation, the environment and the security concept make sense.
