How does the ODS differ from regular event security?
The public order service with protection (ODS) is designed for high-risk situations and critical threats. Compared to regular event security, the ODS task forces are specially trained, equipped with additional equipment (e.g. baton with cantonal weapon carrying permit) and specialized in protection in challenging scenarios such as sensitive events, public spaces or close protection.
For which areas of application is the ODS suitable?
The ODS is used in areas where there is an increased risk of danger, such as in public spaces, on public transport, at sensitive events or for close protection of people at risk.
What measures are taken to deal with critical situations?
Our ODS specialists recognize dangers at an early stage, focus on de-escalation and precise communication and, if necessary, intervene with professional and proportionate intervention to restore security and order.
